The method

What Przelewy24 (P24) is.

Przelewy24 is one of Poland’s major online payment platforms. It supports a broad range of payment methods, including fast bank transfers, BLIK, cards, wallets and other local options. For bank-transfer acceptance, the relevant P24 product is the fast online-transfer or pay-by-link flow — not the entire Przelewy24 payment-method portfolio.

In the online-transfer flow, the customer does not manually copy the merchant’s IBAN, amount and payment reference. P24 creates the payment session, presents the available bank route, and sends the customer to their online banking environment with the transfer form automatically completed. The customer logs in and approves the transfer using their bank’s normal authentication process.

For merchants targeting Poland, this matters because bank-based payments remain deeply embedded in local e-commerce behaviour. The experience feels like a bank transfer to the customer but behaves much more like an instant checkout method for the merchant because the payment status is returned automatically.

The Przelewy24 payment experiences
P24 payment-wall bank transfer

The customer chooses P24 at checkout, selects their bank on the Przelewy24 payment wall and approves the automatically completed transfer form in online banking.

The full P24 bank catalogue in one step — the customer just picks their own bank.

Direct / white-label bank selection

Depending on the integration, selected bank-transfer methods can be surfaced directly in the merchant checkout rather than via the full P24 payment wall.

One selection step less, while the authorisation still takes place through the customer’s bank.

Automatic status return

The payment status comes back automatically through the return flow and server-to-server notification.

A bank transfer for the customer — an instant checkout method for the merchant, with automatic order confirmation instead of manual reconciliation.

The customer journey.

Six steps from checkout to automatic order confirmation — the transfer form arrives pre-filled.

  1. 01

    Select P24

The customer selects Przelewy24 / P24 bank transfer at checkout.

  2. 02

    Bank options shown

P24 displays the available banking options, or the merchant surfaces a supported bank directly through its integration.

  3. 03

    Into online banking

The customer selects their bank and is redirected to the bank’s online or mobile banking environment.

  4. 04

    Review and authorise

The transfer form is already populated with the payment details — the customer primarily reviews and authorises rather than entering transfer data.

  5. 05

    Bank processes

The bank processes the payment and P24 receives the transaction result.

  6. 06

    Status to the merchant

P24 sends the payment status through the return flow and server-to-server notification, allowing the merchant to confirm the order automatically.
